Josh Newton Recognized as "Boss of the Year"

Karnopp Petersen congratulates Josh Newton for being named “Boss of the Year” at the recent Central Oregon Legal Professionals awards night.

Josh Newton was named “Boss of the Year” at the Central Oregon Legal Professionals awards night. Nominated by his legal assistant, Alexis Zamarripa, Josh was honored for his professional accomplishments as well as for his continued support of Alexis during her career as his legal assistant. 

Josh focuses his practice in litigation, appellate law and natural resources and water law at Karnopp Petersen. He contributes time to firm management committees and to community organizations. Josh currently serves as Chair of the Oregon New Lawyers Division, which promotes public awareness and access to the legal system. Josh has also volunteered time to assist the Friends of the Metolius, Deschutes Basin Land Trust, and Bend’s Community Center.
